The services of the new maritime route - Middle East 6 starts operation, connecting Hamad International Port with the ports of 5 Arab countries

The new marine route (Middle East 6) connecting Hamad International Port to the ports of five Arab nations, namely the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Morocco, has begun operations.

QTerminals, the port operator, stated in a statement on the X platform that the new service will create further chances for direct trade between the nations with regular service, speedier and more cost-effective passage.

According to the company, the new service route will pass through approximately ten ports, including Hamad International Port (Qatar), Dammam Port (KSA), Jubail Port (KSA), Jebel Ali Port T2 Port (UAE), Duqm Port (Oman), Salalah (Oman), Suez Port (Egypt), Port Said Easy (Egypt), Tangier Med Port (Morocco), and Tangier Med2 Port (Morocco).
