32nd Doha International Book Fair; the pavilion of the Ministry of Culture is adorned with traditional design that reflects the Qatari heritage

At the 32nd Doha International Book Fair, the Ministry of Culture's pavilion is decorated with traditional artwork that honours Qatari culture. In addition to the books, the pavilion is divided into a number of areas, such as the music area, which features traditional instruments on display, the ancient books and manuscripts area, and the Qatari traditional clothing and accessories portion. Numerous tourists of all nations are flocking to the pavilion to learn more about the various facets of Qatari culture and tradition.

Nasser Al Malki, the head of the ministry's public relations division, told QNA that traditional Qatari architecture served as the inspiration for the pavilion's design. The Pavilion features traditional goods, with a specific emphasis on the Bisht (traditional men's cloak), which the ministry is getting ready to include in the UN as a piece of Qatari heritage.

The Ministry of Culture is taking part in this year's DIBF with a wide range of publications, including books on enhancing identity and a number of publications that were translated in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Doha, according to Sheikha Rashid Al Kuwari, Head of Translation Department at the Ministry of Culture. During the Book Fair, a number of novels that have been translated from various languages will be released.

Numerous books from the domains of literature, poetry, novels, children's literature, theatre, heritage, and the fine arts are on exhibit at the pavilion in both Arabic and English. The 32nd DIBF, which will include over 500 publishers from 37 nations, will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre until June 21.
