The Organizing Committee of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 has announced the launch of the first-ever HH The Father Amir’s Prix, set to take place at the Longines Arena, Al Shaqab, from January 2 to 4, with over 240 male and female riders from various countries taking part.
The event carries a total prize pool exceeding €3.3 million and features four international rounds running throughout January, with competitions ranging from CSI1* to CSI5**, alongside junior and young rider classes. The tour is organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation, Al Shaqab and the Qatar Olympic Committee, with support from several national and international partners.
Abdullah Al Qashouti, Director of Marketing and Communications, said the championship opens on January 2 with performances, a drone and light show, and equestrian activities.
The fan zone will feature cafés, shops, and outdoor entertainment highlighting Qatari culture. Tickets cost QAR 50 per day via Road to Qatar, with VIP and Premium packages offering exclusive access, seating, parking, and catering.
