Doha Festival City mall launched a state-of-the-art reverse vending machine to mark Global Recycling Day

The Doha Festival City Mall, on March 18, celebrated Global Recycling Day by introducing a cutting-edge reverse vending machine (RVM). 

The mall's newest project, Welcome Court A on the ground floor, is a major step towards improving community recycling efforts and serves as a testament to its dedication to sustainability and environmental preservation. The RVM has modern technology, including a crusher module for glass and a shredder module for plastic and aluminium. It is intended to accept plastic at this stage and aluminium and glass at a later time. It uses cutting-edge AI recognition technology from Aco Recycling to ensure effective processing of recyclables.
