Geneva Auto Show 2023 cancelled; Qatar to host the event

The Geneva International Motor Show is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show is hosted at the Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport.

The Geneva Motor Show set to be held in February next year has been called off for the fourth year in a row. The 2020, 2021 and 2022 iterations were called off due to unprecedented pandemic-related concerns with the show organisers now axing the next iteration of the long-running motor show citing uncertainties related to economic and geopolitical reasons.

The 2023 show was set to be held in two phases, the first phase in February in Geneva with the second being held in November in organization with the Qatar Toursim Board in Doha.

The Geneva Motor Show will hold its first Qatar edition in November 2023, but the final dates for the show are yet to be decided.
