Katara Beach will be open daily from 3:30pm to 11pm throughout Summer 2026, starting June 1, offering visitors evening access to swimming, water sports and other beach activities.
The Beach House will remain open daily from sunrise to sunset, while swimming and water sports will be available from 3:30pm until sunset. The beach spans 1.5km and is divided into six sections for families, visitors and recreational activities.
Katara has also announced beach entry fees and visitor amenities. Admission costs QR10 for adults, while chairs and umbrellas can be rented for QR5 each.
Entry is free for children under 15, seniors aged over 60, people with disabilities, caregivers and domestic workers. Visitors taking part in water sports and marine activities will also enjoy complimentary access to the beach.
