The Public Prosecution in the State of Qatar has begun adopting a system that transforms words into text using artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in order to attain speedy justice.
This initiative was made public as part of the Public Prosecution's initiatives to increase operational effectiveness and continuously enhance the services it offers in order to deliver the speedy justice the nation demands in accordance with its National Vision 2030.
Additionally, the Public Prosecution made it clear that these methods would be applied during the investigation sessions and when creating the necessary minutes and memoranda to wrap up the legal proceedings.
This will guarantee that the information accessible during the investigation sessions, during the issue of judgements, and when drafting notes is swiftly and properly turned into written texts, while minimising manual effort. It would help to expedite the legal process and enhance the quality and accuracy of information pertaining to the duties and activities of the Public Prosecution.
A recent trial of word-to-text conversion services by Public Prosecution in several of its offices was well received by a significant number of customers due to the accuracy and efficacy of the service. As a result, it was decided to begin widely using this method in the Public Prosecution.
