Qatar Airways expands global network to over 170 destinations for Winter 2026–2027


Qatar Airways will expand its global network to over 170 destinations for the 2026–2027 winter season, with more than 186 weekly flights across key international markets.


- Africa: Zanzibar returns to daily flights from Oct 25; Seychelles rises to daily from Mar 1, 2027, while Johannesburg increases to 18 weekly flights.

- North America: Montreal becomes daily from Oct 25, adding 40% more seat capacity.

- Asia: Phuket and Malé increase to 21 weekly flights; Ho Chi Minh City rises to 11 weekly from Nov 7.

- Kuala Lumpur: Flights increase to 18 weekly, alongside Malaysia Airlines’ 14 weekly services.

- Australia: Canberra services resume Dec 9, while Melbourne doubles to 14 weekly flights.

- Virgin Australia: Sydney doubles to 14 weekly; Brisbane and Perth services resume with 3 and 4 weekly flights.

- Europe: London flights rise to 56 weekly, while Frankfurt increases to 21 weekly from Dec 7.


Qatar Airways will increase Middle East flight frequencies by 10% for the winter season and resume services to four Saudi destinations: Al Qassim, Taif, Yanbu, and Tabuk. With twice-weekly flights, the expansion will bring its Saudi network to 12 destinations and over 155 weekly flights.
