
Qatar Airways has announced that it will relocate its New York operations to The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in 2026. As part of the move, the airline will open a premium, 15,000-square-foot lounge – its first-ever dedicated lounge in both New York City and the United States.
This transition underscores Qatar Airways’ focus on enhancing the passenger experience while highlighting the strategic role New York City plays in the carrier’s global network.
The new facility will give Qatar Airways Business Class passengers an enhanced experience with first-rate food and beverage options, relaxation areas, prayer rooms, children's play areas, premium dining options, duty-free shopping, and VIP check-in services. It also offers quick and easy access to the boarding gate from the airline's private lounge.
From arrival to departure, the New Terminal One will provide a remarkable guest experience in collaboration with Qatar Airways.
The terminal's cutting-edge technology, light-filled areas, and contemporary architecture will guarantee a smooth and comfortable travel experience for passengers, enhancing Qatar Airways' famous onboard service.
