Qatar opens Hajj 2027 registration for citizens and residents from September 20 to October 20, with a quota of 4,400 pilgrims.
Requirements:
- Health fitness certificate: Mandatory for all applicants and must be obtained from health centres in Qatar. The medical assessment will be recorded electronically.
- Qatari citizens: Must be at least 18 years old and can add up to three companions.
- Residents & GCC citizens: Must be at least 45 years old, have not performed Hajj before, and have lived continuously in Qatar for at least 15 years. They can add one companion.
The ministry has introduced enhanced digital procedures for Hajj registration, campaign bookings and payments. After registration ends, applications will undergo electronic selection, with successful applicants expected to receive SMS notifications from late October.
