The Qatar Kite Festival, one of the country’s most popular winter events, will return to Doha in January 2026 for its fourth edition, featuring international kite flyers and family-friendly activities.
Running from January 15 to 24, 2026, the festival will host 20 professional kite teams from around the world, presenting large-scale aerial displays. Visitors can enjoy both day and night kite flying with artistic designs, character kites and synchronized performances.
The event will also feature food and beverage outlets, along with ground activities such as kite-making workshops for children, free kite giveaways, cultural shows, carnival parades, stage performances, and dedicated kids’ zones.
