The Ministry of Sports and Youth's Qatar Polo Club (QPC) announced Tuesday that Qatar Calendar is hosting the nation's first-ever polo showcase, Polo Al Marsa Qatar.
The event, which will debut exhibition polo in a specially constructed grass arena, will take place at Terminal Park, Old Doha Port, from December 11 to 13. It will include a sporting festival of top-notch polo matches, cultural exhibits, hospitality, and horsemanship. As part of the Qatar-Argentina and Chile 2025 Year of Culture, an effort that leads to enduring cultural connections between Qatar and other countries, players from Argentina and Chile will participate in the showcase.
From the juniors play-off and women's exhibition match to the Years of Culture Championship Cup, which honors Argentina and Chile and demonstrates how sport unites people and fosters international trust, fans will be able to enjoy the thrill of polo over the course of three days. The competition's centerpiece is the Polo AlMarsa Championship Cup, in which Qatari and foreign athletes will compete in mixed teams in the nation's historic athletic debut.
