Qatar's Education City high school to host ‘Ru’ya’ event celebrating student creativity and vision

Education City High School (ECHS), bringing together students from Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education schools — Qatar Academy Doha, Qatar Academy Sidra, and Qatar Academy for Science and Technology — will host ‘Ru’ya,’ a TEDx-style event celebrating student creativity, passion, and growth through impactful storytelling.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 15, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the QAD Primary Auditorium. It will feature nine inspiring talks delivered by students and parents, highlighting transformative personal journeys, visionary ideas, and a dedication to lifelong learning and community inspiration.

Shantanu Rajadhyaksha, IB Core Coordinator and IBDP Business Management teacher at ECHS, emphasized that Ru’ya underscores the idea that education transcends classrooms and exams. “It reminds the community that learning is a dynamic process fueled by collaboration, creativity, and shared experiences.

Rajadhyaksha said.“Ru’ya provides a powerful motivational platform for students, helping them to develop and apply 21st-century skills in a real-world context. This experience fosters teamwork, strengthens bonds, and instills a commitment to high standards, encouraging participants to grow with every step.”
