Qatar-UAE Super Cup, a friendly football event between Qatar and UAE will kick off on April 12 in Doha

The stage was set for the first Qatar-UAE Super Cup, a friendly football event between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The tournament will kick off on April 12, 2024 in Doha with the first match between Qatar's Emir's Cup champions Al Arabi and UAE's President's Cup winners Sharjah.

The excitement of the Super Cup will ripple across both countries as the 2022-2023 ADNOC Pro League champions Shabab Al Ahli and 2022-2023 Qatar Stars League winners Al Duhail take on Dubai on April 13.

The details were announced at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental in Doha. Officials from both countries gathered to sign and celebrate the creation of this new chapter in regional sports.

The signing ceremony was attended by UAE Pro League Chairman Abdullah Nasser Al Jenebi, Qatar Football Association (QFA) Vice President Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, as well as prominent sports figures and international media representatives.
