Thundery rain associated with strong wind is expected during the daytime on November 7, 2022, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said on its weather forecast. The country will continue to experience relatively hot weather during the daytime, and partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain that can be expected to turn thundery and associated with a strong wind at some places, QMD said.
QMD added that the far North areas can expect thundery rain in the early morning, associated with strong wind and high sea.During this period, the wind will blow mainly southwesterly to a southeasterly direction, and shift to the northeasterly direction at 5-15 KT, reaching 25 KT during thundery rain. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet. Offshore it will be 3 to 5 feet surging to 7 feet during thundery rain.
QMD shared a video of some places in the northeast part of the country that received drizzle and light rain. No further warning was issued by the Department.
