An electronic draw is to be held today to select successful Haj applicants to perform the Haj in 2024

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, through the Department of Haj and Umrah Affairs, will conduct an electronic drawing today to choose the successful Haj candidates from the 20,774 applicants who have filed to do the Haj in 2024. For the next Haj season, Saudi officials have set aside 4,400 pilgrims for Qatar. The department will notify the winning candidates via text messages (SMS) following the conclusion of the draw procedure. The chosen applicants must get in touch, register, and complete the necessary processes with the approved Haj trip operators.
According to the Ministry, those who are selected for the Haj must sign up with one of the 23 approved tour operators that are included in the computerised Haj and Umrah Affairs Management System (hajj.gov.qa).
20,774 applications were filed in the Haj system to conduct the Haj the next year.

The chosen applicant may verify the costs and services of Haj trip operators by going to their offices

The ministry's website opened for locals and foreigners to register online for the Haj season of 2024 on September 20, 2023.
