The Umm Lekhba Interchange Underpass to Thani Bin Jassim Interchange Underpass in the direction of Hamad International Airport traffic will be closed for nine hours, according to the public works authority in Ashghal.
On the service roads and at the Thani Bin Jassim Interchange lights, traffic will remain open. There will be a temporary closure of the flyover on Umm Lekhba Interchange that runs from Al Shamal to Hamad International Airport.
The diversion will begin in conjunction with the Traffic Department, on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 1 am to 10 am. The department suggested using Duhail Interchange to get to your destination on the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor if you were travelling from Al Shamal or Al Markhiya. However, it was urged that passengers travelling from Doha to the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor utilise the Umm Lekhba Interchange as normal and use the service roads along the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor to get where they were going.
