HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the 2023 Doha Horticulture Expo's opening ceremony today. At the Expo site in Al Bidda Park, Sheikh Tamim was accompanied by a number of prominent officials, including heads of state and government and representatives of kinship and friendly nations. The stunning 1.7 million square metres of the lushly green Al Bidda Park is home to Expo 2023 Doha, which will last 179 days. The largest of such an event the Middle East has ever seen is anticipated to draw over three million visitors over the course of its whole run, with participation from over 80 nations.

The show includes presentations and conferences, art, and food in addition to beautifully designed gardens. In addition to seeing pavilions from participating nations and engaging in a variety of other activities themed around the Expo's theme, visitors and participants could explore the prospects for a greener future. The public can enter the Expo 2023 Doha on Tuesday, October 3. A schedule of daily activities is provided for Expo visitors in each of the three display zones: the International Zone, Cultural Zone, and Family Zone.

According to Mohammed Ali Al Khouri, the secretary-general of Expo 2023 Doha, the exposition seeks to develop novel solutions to all the issues and difficulties that impede the growth of green spaces.

When the exhibition officially opens on Tuesday, the public can participate in the events listed below.

Traditional Zone:

International pavilions can be visited from 10 am to 8 pm

Workshops at the Innovation Centre from 3 to 9 p.m.

Cultivation Zone: 

Cultural Workshops, Sand Meet (for children under 6), Eco-Challenge (for those between the ages of 7 and 15), as well as Qatari and international Street Games, all at Ennat Expo - 3 pm to 9 pm

Sports in Nature 1 at Ennat Expo - 5:30 to 6:30 pm

Sports in Nature 2, at Ennat Expo - 8 pm to 9 pm

Green Desert, Better Tomorrow is scheduled at the Cultural Arena from 7 to 8:15 pm

Family Zone:

Digital Challenge at Digital Park from 3 pm to 10 pm
