“Masterpieces of Furniture Design” exhibition, the first of its kind in Middle East, is open until December 9 in Msheireb Downtown

The "Masterpieces of Furniture Design" exhibition is on display at the M7 Building in Msheireb Downtown Doha until December 9. Visitors can enter a world where design transcends utility and becomes art. This exhibition is the first of its type in Qatar and the whole Middle East. It is a cooperation between M7 and the Vitra Design Museum in Germany.

This exhibit takes you through the 200-year history of contemporary furniture through a selection of more than 50 classic items. Each work demonstrates how design ideas have changed throughout time, illuminating the complex link between art and utility.

The exhibition is meticulously divided into seven themes that characterise superior design. These principles, which range from "Innovating Crafts and Technologies" to "Designing Sustainability" and "Learning from Nature," highlight the varied ways that design has an impact on our daily lives. In addition, there are "Comfort Zones," "The Social Question," "Less is More," and "Dialogues between Art and Design."
