Qatar Classic Cars Contest and Exhibition showcases an impressive collection of vintage and rare cars

The Qatar Classic Cars Contest and Exhibition opened in Medina Centrale, The Pearl, yesterday which has an amazing collection of rare and antique vehicles. It will last for five days, ending on Sunday, December 10. 

The Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association's Chairman of the Board of Directors, H E Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, expressed satisfaction with the event's significant place on the yearly schedule. He underlined how important it is as a top venue for owners of antique cars in the nation and the surrounding area to display their highly valued automobiles. "It has developed into the preeminent platform for owners of vintage cars in Qatar and the surrounding area to exhibit their best models." He clarified that the association's mission is to give owners of historic cars a forum to protect the legacy and history that have been passed down through the ages. Sheikh Faisal also emphasised the association's commitment to building a community of informed and responsible collectors by providing them with exposure to artistic, educational, and cultural events.

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Omar Hussein Al Fardan emphasised the association's ongoing efforts to create events that serve as models for other events of a similar nature. He said that the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Museums, H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, is the event's patron, and his support has been crucial to its greatest success.

The exhibition's development has been accelerated by prestigious organisations and corporations including the United Development Company, Qatar Tourism, Qatar Airways, and Al Fardan Motors, placing it at the forefront of regional events.

Al Fardan emphasised the function of the event in drawing tourists, enhancing culture and tourism, and establishing a platform for heritage and tourism featuring vintage historical automobiles. He talked on the significance of educating a variety of audiences to the heritage of vintage automobile collecting and the unparalleled worldwide interest in this activity.
