Qatar reveals Lusail course details for 2026 T100 Triathlon World Championship final

Visit Qatar, in collaboration with the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), World Triathlon and the Qatar Triathlon Federation, has announced additional details of the Lusail course for the 2026 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final. The event will take place from December 10 to 12 and will return to Lusail for the second consecutive year.

The course will once again highlight Lusail’s waterfront, featuring a 2km swim in the Arabian Gulf, followed by an 80km cycling route through the city’s streets and an 18km run passing through Lusail Plaza and Boulevard.

For 2026, athletes can compete in relay teams across both 100km and sprint distances, alongside individual races and 1km and 5km community runs. The event’s growth follows its successful debut, which attracted over 5,000 amateur athletes from 82 countries, highlighting Qatar’s rising profile as a major international multisport destination.

The Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final will bring the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour to a close, following a nine-destination global series held from March to December. Leading professional triathletes will compete in Lusail for the season’s world championship titles. Registration remains open with less than 100 days until the event.
