“Sanxingdui World Exhibition of National Treasures - A Global Tour of 12k Micro Viewing of National Treasures,” exhibition opened

Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, Director General of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), opened the "Sanxingdui World Exhibition of National Treasures (Sanxingdui Encounter): A Global Tour of 12k Micro Viewing of National Treasures" exhibition at Building No. 1 on Sunday. As part of her mission to foster mutual understanding and communication amongst all cultures and peoples, Katara is organizing this gathering.

Posters of the old city of Sanxingdui and its ancient civilizations are on display in this show, which is being held in collaboration with the Sanxingdui Museum in China. One of Southwest China's oldest archeological sites is Sanxingdui. Since the 20th century, archeological finds have demonstrated that the Chengdu Plain constituted a major component of Chinese culture and served as the epicenter of prehistoric civilization in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

The show emphasizes the historical significance of the Sanxingdui-Jinsha sites and features a variety of items, including a bronze head statue from the Shang dynasty and a bronze statue with a beast crown.
