The National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Fire Station bagged the 'Green Apple Awards For Best Environmental Practices 2023'

Recently, Qatar's three museums received awards for their environmentally friendly operations.  The National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Fire Station won the "Green Apple Awards For Best Environmental Practises 2023" in the Carbon Management category. The Green Organisation in the UK gave out this award. 

Qatar Museums celebrated the success on social media, writing: "This internationally recognised award for sustainability actions is yet another significant milestone on our sustainability journey."

The Green Organisation was founded in 1994 as a global, independent, non-profit, apolitical environmental organisation committed to acknowledging, recognising, and promoting environmental best practise around the world.
